THE
HIBERNIAN BENEVOLENT SOCIETY OF ATLANTA - Founded in 1858 by Father
Thomas O'Reilly, the Society has approximately 300 members and promotes Irish culture in
the Atlanta area. The Society has sponsored the annual St. Patrick's Day Parade for
over 115
years.

- the Metropolitan Atlanta Police Emerald Society, Inc., in existence since
1997, is a non profit, non political fraternal organization, whose mission is to
promote a sense of pride in their Gaelic heritage and to recognize the accomplishment and
contributions made by fellow Gaelic law enforcement officers within the Metro Atlanta
Area.
Clan Na nGael
& GAELIC ATHLETIC ASSOCIATION
- Gaelic Football Club in Atlanta, founded
in April 1996. The only GAA club in the Southern Division (Georgia), the Atlanta club has
over 100 members.
THEATRE
GAEL - Theatre Gael's mission is to produce and preserve the plays, poetry,
music, dance and storytelling of the Celtic countries of Ireland, Scotland and Wales. In
Atlanta for 15 years, Theatre Gael is the only inter-Celtic theatre in the region.
ATLANTA'S
CELTIC FESTIVAL - is showcase of Irish, Scottish and Welsh music, dance, art,
theater, folklore, and culture. Atlanta-area Celtic groups annually schedule two days of
activities in an effort to make the public more aware of their proud heritage.

CELTIC CONNECTION - This
site has been created to provide information and support for the Celtic
community in Atlanta, GA and the Southeast. It is provided by the Atlanta
Celtic Festival, Inc., a non-profit organization dedicated to supporting and
promoting all aspects of Celtic Culture including Irish, Scots, Welsh,
Breton, Manx, Galician and others . . . through our annual Atlanta Celtic
Festival, various concerts and other Celtic related activities.

Festival, Inc. Its focus is to provide information about Celtic Events in

the Ancient Order of Hibernians was formed in 1998 with the goal of bringing
